The Blue Mountains are the longest and highest mountain range in Jamaica, offering spectacular views of the island and the Caribbean Sea. They are also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for their rich biodiversity and cultural heritage.

The Blue Mountains are home to more than 800 species of plants, 200 species of birds, and 500 species of butterflies, many of which are endemic to Jamaica.

They are also the source of the world-famous Blue Mountain coffee, grown on the slopes of the mountains and renowned for its smooth and aromatic flavor. Tour Location

The Blue Mountains National Park is located in the eastern part of Jamaica, covering an area of 480 square kilometers (190 square miles). It is about 100 kilometers (62 miles) or two hours drive from Kingston, the capital city of Jamaica. You can get there by car, bus, or taxi along the scenic A4 highway that follows the coastline. Along the way, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, the Blue Mountains, and the Rio Grande Valley. You can also stop by some of the attractions that dot the route, such as Boston Bay1, the birthplace of jerk cuisine; Frenchman’s Cove2, a secluded beach with a freshwater stream; and Somerset Falls3, a cascading waterfall with a hidden cave.
