Folly Lighthouse is located about 3 km (1.9 miles) from the center of Port Antonio, the capital of Portland parish. You can get there by car, taxi, or bike along the scenic Folly Road that runs along the coast. The road is paved but narrow and winding, so drive carefully and watch out for pedestrians and cyclists. Along the way, you can see the ruins of the Folly Mansion, a once-grand estate that was built by an American millionaire in 1905.
