Pelican Bar is located about 1 mile offshore from Parottee Bay, a small fishing village on the south coast of Jamaica. It is about 7 miles from Black River, the nearest town, and 12 miles from Treasure Beach, a popular tourist destination. You can get there by boat from any of these places, or from some nearby resorts that offer tours to Pelican Bar. The boat ride takes about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the weather and the tide. Along the way, you can enjoy the views of the coastline, the mountains, and the wildlife. You may even spot some dolphins, turtles, or pelicans.
